1993: A 6-5 home win over the Capital District Islanders snaps a season-high four-game losing streak.

2006
: The P-Bruins win their eighth consecutive home game, edging the Hartford Wolf Pack, 2-1.

2007
: The P-Bruins win their fifth straight road game with a 6-4 decision at Portland, highlighted by five multipoint scorers and a 39-save performance by Jordan Sigalet.

2008
: Jeff Hoggan’s second goal of the game grants Sean Curry his second unanswered helper and the P-Bruins a 4-3 overtime win over Hartford, who originally led, 2-0 and later 3-2 until Curry set up Brent Thompson for an equalizer with 80 seconds left in regulation.

2010
: Mikko Lehtonen scores two goals and Andy Wozniewski chips in an assist in the AHL All-Star Game at the Cumberland County Civic Center.

This Date In Providence Bruins History: January 19

1994: In what proves their final visit to the Moncton Coliseum, the P-Bruins beat the Hawks, 5-3.

1997: The P-Bruins win their last trip to Baltimore, edging the Bandits, 4-3.

2001: Peter Ferraro, Nick Boynton and Cameron Mann score unanswered in the third period to morph a 4-1 pothole into a 4-4 tie with the visiting Hartford Wolf Pack.

2002: Andrew Raycroft repels 51 shots, including 22 in the first period, while Dennis Bonvie bookends the night’s scoring in a 2-2 tie with the IceCats at the Worcester Centrum.

2003: The P-Bruins delete a 2-0 deficit and Andy Hilbert strikes in overtime at the Hartford Civic Center to finalize a 3-2 win and keep Providence unbeaten through seven games in its season series with the Wolf Pack.

2004: Andy Hilbert connects at the last second of the first period and Brian White tallies a shortie to pace the P-Bruins past the visiting Binghamton Senators, 3-1.

2008: Matt Hendicks, Jeff Hoggan and Aaron Slattengren notch two points apiece as part of a 4-3 win in Worcester.

2010: Mikko Lehtonen chips in two goals for PlanetUSA, though the Canadian All-Stars eventually win a 10-9 shootout decision at the Cumberland County Civic Center.

This Date In Providence Bruins History: January 18

1999: Fueled by Marquis Mathieu’s two-goal game, the P-Bruins notch a 6-2 home victory over the Lowell Lock Monsters. Winning goalie John Grahame ties John Blue’s franchise record for most single-game penalty minutes by a Providence goaltender with an identical log of two minors, one major and one 10-minute misconduct.

2002: A member of the inaugural team in 1992-93, defenseman Gord Murphy re-dons the Spoked-P and sets up Carl Corrazzini’s go-ahead goal en route to a 3-2 home win over the Worcester IceCats.

2003: Twice trailing by a goal, the P-Bruins rally to top the host Albany River Rats when Kris Vernarsky draws a 2-2 knot with 92 seconds to spare in regulation and Chris Kelleher slugs home an overtime goal.

2008: Aaron Slattengren provides all of the necessary offense with the game’s first two goals, but will be joined by six others in the multipoint club in a 7-1 throttling of the Lowell Devils at The Dunk.

2011: Matt Dalton stops a Rob Hisey penalty shot at 5:05 of the second period, then repels four of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers five shootout attempts. Zach Hamill and Jamie Arniel both convert on the other end to give the P-Bruins a 2-1 win at Webster Bank Arena.
